NAEYC program seeks a full time co teacher 8:30-5:30 m-f working with 3-5 year olds Or 2 Part time co teachers 1-5:30/3-5:30 working with 3-5 year olds Duties are, but not limited to: • Preferred ECE or Elem. Ed. Degree or CDA Experience and some education accepted (program will help teacher obtain CDA) • Experience with special needs a plus but not required • Demonstrates understanding in ECE and NAEYC • Under the supervision of the Lead teacher help to develop and implement curriculum plans based on NAEYC guidelines 1. Understand each child’s individual needs and develop plans accordingly. 2. Helps maintain portfolio and documentation on each child • Communicates effectively with parents • Responsible for writing monthly classroom newsletter with help from Lead • Responsible for maintaining the classroom environment with help from Lead • Participate in Professional Education opportunities • Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification • Maintain valid City Childcare License full time postion- offers health and dental Program hours 7:30-5:30, more info on program www.kidsarespecialpeople.com ________________________________________ Compensation: DOE This is a part-time job.
