JOB DESCRIPTION: As an Associate Director, you will utilize your talents to manage the day-to-day operations of a Sylvan Learning Center, including teaching Sylvan programs, updating student programs, pulling materials for instruction, scheduling teachers and students, providing excellent customer service, communicate and work in conjunction with Directors in the Bend location. This is a part time/ hourly position with opportunity to for the right person to evolve to a salaried position. This position requires training in Bend, training will begin in August approximately 15-20 hours per week, actual start date in Redmond to be determined upon proper training and readiness. Summer hours do not require evening or Saturday work, school year hours require evening and Saturday work. Fall schedule will be determined once Redmond Schools announce final scheduling for the district. Any teacher applying that desires to also sub in the district, may be considered if willing to sub on days that Sylvan is closed (probably 2 school days a week).
