Guaranteach is looking to hire an Assistant Curriculum Writer to join our team. We are building an online teaching tool that is comprised of a library of educational videos. This year, we are working on K-12 mathematics, and have already laid out the bones of our curriculum map. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in mathematics and some experience with curriculum development to assist us with fleshing out individual lesson requisitions. Each lesson requisition will be based on a concept or operation that we would like to include in our video library and will be used by video contributors to plan their video presentation. A sample lesson requisition topic would be "How to Solve for a Variable" or "Multiplying Fractions". Assistant Curriculum Writer will work directly under the Senior Manager of Content and Curriculum and will be guided by that individual in content creation. The Assistant Curriculum Writer will also be responsible for maintaining specific hours at our filming premises and providing some guidance and assistance to our video content contributors. Reliability, attention to detail, and a consistent daily schedule are highly desirable qualities. Qualified applicants should have a high tolerance for grasping complex systems and should have a strong understanding of the interdependency of discrete mathematical concepts. A familiarity with all of K-12 mathematics up through Calculus and including Statistics is preferred.
