Project SEED, a dynamic nonprofit organization, is currently hiring Mathematicians and Scientists to teach advanced mathematics in Baltimore County elementary schools. Founded in 1963 with the goal of using mathematics to increase the educational options of urban youth, Project SEED uses a unique Socratic group-discovery method to engage students, while building interest and confidence in math. Project SEED instruction not only makes mathematics exciting, it also raises students' test scores by building algebraic and critical thinking and reinforcing basic skills. No teaching experience required. Paid training is provided to all Project SEED employees. A degree in mathematics or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.
