Highly experienced, well-rounded Construction Project Manager with refinery shutdown/turnaround experience needed to completely oversee and direct all aspects of up to 3 projects simultaneously. Will handle financial aspects as well as all operational aspects via a down line reporting network that includes a Filed Project Manager on (each job)and their direct reports. Will work closely with owner/client and expected to develop strong relationships while completing projects on time and under budget wherever possible. Clear and strong communicative skills spoken and written needed. Will be communicating job progress to home office personnel weekly. Quick thinker with problem solving skills and strong leadership ability necessary. Degree recommended in either Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or Construction Management. 10 years experience is needed. Must have a solid knowledge of construction processes from working with estimators to being handed the project after negotiation. Key elements of this role include: Scheduling, material management, financial controls and approvals,significant change orders, subcontractor control, profit and loss, develop strategies for proceeding and measuring progress. CAD experience helpful. Project Management in an industrial construction union environment is needed. Background with FCC refinery shutdowns, alky, sulphur, cokers, turnarounds. Familiar with pressure vessel installations and repair. Background that includes process piping and boilermaking would be helpful. Projects located from coast to coast of varying duration. Travel as necessary by plane, up to 30% in spurts. May be extended if project requires attention.
