Established, single discipline (electrical) consulting engineering company is expanding services to include mechanical engineering and is seeking a senior mechanical engineer for a full time, permanent position. The successful candidate must have experience in the design and construction phase services of a variety of project types (higher education, medical facilities, large scale commercial, historic renovation, federal, etc.), as well as client relations experience. Your Duties  Responsible for coordinating all aspects of mechanical engineering projects.  Establish project scopes; produce mechanical budgets; prepare feasibility studies; evaluate energy conservation measures using computer simulations; design HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.  Directly participate in and supervise the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.  Manage concurrent projects.  Coordinate technical and administrative activities with other design team disciplines.  Market mechanical engineering services to clients. What You Offer  Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  Current registration as a professional engineer in good standing. If not registered in Montana, registration by comity will be required.  A history of ten or more years of progressive, professional work experience.  Effective verbal and written communications skills.  LEED® AP credential (desirable).  Commissioning experience (desirable).  Working knowledge of the following codes: IBC, IMC, IECC, UBC, UMC, ASHRAE 90.1, and pertinent NFPA.  Strong Autodesk AutoCAD MEP and Microsoft Office skills. Proficiency in building simulation programs and Autodesk Revit (desirable).  Initiative, enthusiasm, and commitment to your profession.
