Just received new job opening for a Systems Engineer. This is a direct hire position, the ideal candidate would be a multi-disciplinary engineer. Here is the job description: OVERVIEW Product teams for the client's product typically consist of an Electrical Engineer, a Mechanical Engineer, a Software Engineer, and a Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer needs to be a generalist, but can come from any of the 3 backgrounds (ME, EE, or SE). Must be a US Citizen. REQUIRED BS in EE, ME, CS, or similar 5+ years' experience as a generalist - ie, must have experience working closely with the other 2 'types' in a group, to tie everything together. Ability to 'make bright people gel' - acts as the informal project lead in the team Strong analytical skills If ME - needs to have 3d Modelling experience If SW Eng - needs to have experience with scientific, data-driven development BONUS Inline Pipe Inspection experience DESIRED MS Degree SOFT SKILLS Able to work largely unsupervised Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other engineers Can either work quite a bit with clients or not, depending on preference Someone who likes to 'own' the project Bright, flexible, and able to grasp ideas quickly INTERVIEW PROCESS The manager is out of town 6/1-6/9.
