Primary Responsibilities: - Conceptualizes and designs In-Line Inspection tools. - Provides technical support to world-wide In-Line Inspection sales, manufacturing, and customer service groups regarding product and service applications, support, and complaint resolution. - Addresses technical problems by inventing solutions or changing system design. - Improves technical knowledge of department through on the job application and leverage of customer specific engineered solutions, participation in professional and industry trade organizations, reviewing technical papers/literature and attending appropriate seminars and workshops with the intent of applying the latest technology to both existing and new products. - Reviews work of self and others to ensure systems are designed with minimum complexity and maximum result. Ideal Candidates will Possess: - BS in an engineering field and at least 5 years experience. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Ability to collaborate with many different technical disciplines. - Multidisciplinary design skills, including: o Mechanical design and analysis; SolidWorks experience is a plus. o Familiarity with electronic systems, including sensors and data acquisition. o Experience programming for data analysis purposes. MATLAB, Labview, or C/C++ familiarity is a plus.
