An international leader in Rainscreen Cladding systems (Metal and Terracotta) offers the position of a Façade Production Design Detailer. POHL has been in business since 1856 and employs approx 550 people in fabrication plants in Germany, Poland and the USA. POHL specializes in the Engineering and fabrication of custom made Architectural panel systems. In order to continue our growth, we have an opening for a Facade Detailer. This person will report directly to our Chief Engineer and support our Engineering and Sales team. Position Summary: Develops, organizes and implements the drafting standards necessary to efficiently prepare shop drawings to our customer’s expectations. Reviews project proposal or plan, customer’s scope and project specification to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to each phase of project. The following qualifications/experience are required: • Technical knowledge of façade systems • Excellent interpretation of complex Architectural drawings • Ability to check fabrication drawings • Panel take-offs • AUTOCAD latest version • 5 years Drafting Experience of Metal panel systems • Good communication skills • Understanding a capability to draw in 3D Qualified candidates are encouraged to email their resume for consideration of the position.
