LMATA Government Services, LLC a small business in government contracting is seeking 2 experienced Electromechanical Technicians to work full-time in support of a long-term contract. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance. Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check. There are two openings for electro-mechanical technologists to participate on a security systems design team to develop designs for the protection of high value Department of Defense assets. There is a high consequence associated with the theft or sabotage of these assets. The successful candidates will work under the direction of a project lead to design security systems. The successful candidates will be involved with the selection, procurement, testing and implementation of system components. Department personnel routinely interact with SMEs on intrusion detection sensors, video systems, networks, access delay, and system effectiveness analysis. Skills/ Requirements - An associate's degree in engineering technology (electrical preferred). - Demonstrated skill working independently, and in providing project and installation team support; effective communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of sensor component design, installation, testing, and sustainment support. - Working understanding of electrical circuits; shielding and grounding, CCTV, Alarm Communication and Display (AC&D), interior and exterior sensors; network installation and router programming; field installation experience with electronic assemblies, RF and multi-conductor cables; and/or Fiber Optic communications skills. - Extensive travel can be expected with extended assignments lasting 4-8 weeks. - A strong desire to join a team in a fast-paced environment and an eagerness to continually learn new technology. DESIRED: - Working knowledge of CAD tools with the ability to perform documentation of field installations.
