Also assists in maintaining profitability of booked orders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. * Work within a cross-functional team environment with Engineering, Project Management and Marketing to achieve sales objectives and acceptable profit margins. * Provide recommendations on product application and sizing, specifications, specification reviews, general arrangement drawings, pricing and other sales aid materials as required to support customer needs. * Provide direct field sales support in such activities as specification review, customer presentations, product application and sizing, process start-up and technical training. Recognized product expert. * Evaluate market trends and recommend promotional sales support activities. * Help develop sales aids such as brochures, technical data and catalogs. * Define product improvements and standardizations, and recommend new product development. * Review submittals from customers to ensure conformance to what was bid. * Provide specific equipment information to Engineering. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE B.S. degree in one of the engineering disciplines is required. M.S. degree in an engineering discipline or Professional Engineer certificate is preferred. A minimum of three to five years of directly applicable technical and sales experience is also required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry related documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints. Ability to take understand and both read, write and converse in English and at advanced level. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing on a technical level and make formal presentations. Must be proficient with personal computer using company standard software. Must have demonstrated interpersonal and customer relations skills. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to apply advance mathematical equations to a variety of complex, non-standard situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of Eimco Water Treatment Sedimentation products and associated equipment. Computer skills are essential – proficiency in Word, Excel, and Syteline application programs desired.
