* The position is a management position. Individual will be working with a structural engineering staff of 4 to 10 individuals, including engineers, designers and other support staff. Individual answers directly to the company’s Chief Engineer.
* Position requires at least 5 years experience as a licensed engineer, with a track-record of design work that demonstrates capability and experience with structural analysis of steel members, and other types of members including concrete and wood.
* The position works closely with other engineering and non-engineering disciplines, and the person should have good communication and people skills. Applicant must be a team player.
* Resume should identify the structural engineering software the individual has used. Working knowledge of RISA is helpful but not essential.
* Alaska Professional Engineer license is preferred, but license from other state is acceptable. Alaska Professional Engineer license must be obtained within 12 to 24 months of joining the company.
