Seeking a Safety Engineer with a BS degree in safety, health or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must be capable of meeting physical requirements for working in a hazardous waste environment, working in radiological equipment and able to wear respiratory equipment. Primary job functions are; responding to emerging programmatic and project related safety compliance issues. Provide occupational safety interpretation and interface in job hazard awareness and worker protection programs. Perform inspections, assessments, and reviews if facilities and operations to detect existing or potential worker safety concerns.
