Evergreen Engineering, LLC located in Hillsboro, OR, is currently seeking a full-time MECHANICAL / HVAC ENGINEER who will interface directly with our Project Managers and provide design services for our rapidly growing list of clients. Potential work assignments could be in Oregon, SW Washington, or California.

Qualifications:
*Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
*Technical skill set requires strong knowledge, proven experience and ability to manage design of the following systems including controls philosophy development:
*Mechanical wet-side hydronic systems
*Mechanical dry-side HVAC and exhaust systems
*Plumbing systems
*Fire Protection systems
*Proven leadership of a mechanical design team (engineers and designers).
*Intermediate to excellent computer skills with MS Windows XP, Outlook, Word, Project and Excel.
*Familiarity with AutoCAD a must. Proficiency with CAD and familiarity with BIM a plus.
*Effective communication and impromptu problem solving skills.
*Ability to follow through in a self-motivated fashion.
*Ability to work in a cost-effective, customer-focused, team-based environment.
*Understanding and skill in assessing a customer’s requirements/needs in the field.
Job Description:
*Manage systems design and implementation from concept design and criteria development through commissioning and turnover.
*Design with applicable Codes and Standards including the application of Client's Design Standards.
*Read and interpret construction contract documents.
*Interface with multiple disciplines, Project Management, System Owners, Customers, General Contractor, Sub-contractor, and AHJ Teams.
*Perform system Start Up, Commissioning and Integration Planning including no-impact planning.
Education:
*Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university. PE license required.
