We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Controls Engineer to provide engineering support through different phases of a project, from conceptual engineering, procurement, construction, pre-operational testing & commissioning phases. You will be working in a challenging, team-oriented environment meeting critical project deadlines. We pay well and offer challenging, interesting work. You will be designing, commissioning and maintaining electrical, instrumentation and automation systems associated with processing plants, gas compression facilities, mining facilities and other related projects. You need a strong understanding of PLC ladder logic, digital and sequential logic programming methods, & process related closed-loop control systems; and knowledge of automation (PLC/DCS) and electrical system design, diagnosis & operation. Experience should include: Experience with control/automation system design, integration, and operation; Experience in PLC based system design and programming (Rockwell Automation experience preferred); Experience in developing and implementing Human-Machine-Interfaces (HMI). We would like you to have a BS degree in EE, EE Technology, or related field and five years of experience, and you must be willing to travel up to 50%.
