iTradeNetwork, Inc. with offices in Boise has an open position for a Senior Software Developer with the following skills: B.A./B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent experience JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the delivery of software products based on existing architecture and standard software practices. Software Solutions Development & Delivery Using latest technology, create reusable and quality programs according to ITradeNetwork established standards and practices * Design and code ITradeNetwork*s applications * Use development methodologies based on Test Driven Development and Agile principles * Produce quality and well-documented code according to scheduled deadlines * Translate business requirements into an effective technical design in accordance with the ITradeNetwork architecture and platform * Assists Development Manager and/or Team Leads to maintain communication between software development team and other departments * Assists development manager with the development of timelines and prioritization of work within the Software Development team Research, Development & Training Evaluate new technologies to impact ITradeNetwork line of business applications. Stay up to date on competing and complementary technologies * Characterize and document the system behavior of software * Develop research and development goals to include participation in conferences, seminars, blogs and e-learning * Conducts internet research and subscribes to periodicals to stay current on applicable technology * Under the direction of Software Development Manager and/or Team Lead, provides leadership, coaching and development to team as opportunities arise Knowledge & Experience Requirements: (Minimum qualifications required to perform the job) * B.A./B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent experience * 5+ years professional software development experience * 3+ years professional experience in the web application development * 3+ years professional experience with Microsoft technologies * 2+ years professional experience with Microsoft .Net (C# and 2.0 experience preferred) * 3+ years professional experience with ASP.NET(1.1 or 2.0) * 2+ years professional experience with XML technologies * Knowledge of latest Microsoft technologies * Knowledge of design patterns, unit testing, refactoring (Red, Green, Refactor) * Knowledge of Agile, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration principles * Knowledge of the following: Microsoft application blocks, ORM and Application Frameworks, SOA standards, Workflow Frameworks, W3C protocols, etc. * Knowledge of J2EE technologies preferred * Knowledge of webservice technologies like WSE 3.0 and WSF * Demonstrated knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures * Proven understanding of benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented environments Must have unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
