Instrumentation & Power Engineer Work Location: Sandy, UT Preparing calculations and sketches for a detailed segment of a project; prepare technical specifications for review and approval; evaluate vendor bids and drawings to assure compliance with specifications for reviews; approve design drawings for assigned segment of a project; monitor the activities of subcontracted technical services; assist with the development of design guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures; supervise work through the planning and scheduling of work and the review of approval of tasks when functioning a "lead " capacity. BS degree in Electrical Engineering; at least 8 years of related work experience in consulting engineering doing heavy industrial; including MCC's, Power Systems, Load studies, Instrumentation and Cable Trays. Must be capable of exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting ad applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to make minor design adaptations and modifications; proficient computer skills.
