The Business Development Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships in various markets, including transportation, infrastructure, and power, for the purpose of generating program management delivery opportunities for Client. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge in these fields and will have demonstrated experience delivering large capital construction programs for clients. Responsibilities include: - Ability to effectively convey benefits of the program management delivery model to clients in private, public, and quasi-public client sets. - Ability to leverage existing client relationships to provide potential opportunities for Client’s services. - Ability to develop new client relationships with other clients in the industry to create potential new opportunities for Client’s services. - Coordinate with various internal groups within Client in the delivery of program management solutions and services. - Report on business development activities and progress to Client management on a regular basis. - Provide expertise during proposal preparation, interview preparation, and other phases of opportunity pursuit. Qualifications - BA/BS Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent degree required. - Professional registration (Arch/PE/PG), Project Management Professional, or Program Management Professional certification highly desired. - 15+ years more experience in program management, project controls, or related fields on large capital infrastructure programs, focused on transportation, infrastructure, and/or energy. - Strong working knowledge of effective program management and program delivery approaches and techniques. Client needs someone who understands how to sell Construction Program Management Services at the C-Level. Our core geographic area for this position is the United States.
