Architect-Engineer Firm Electrical Engineer/ E.I.T. (POSITION VACANT - IMMEDIATE OPENING) The project engineer will be responsible for electrical design, production and management for commercial, healthcare and educational projects; providing schematic design information; preliminary task list, producing construction documents; preparation of engineering calculations; size equipment and systems; project scheduling; electrical system troubleshooting; final punch list; change orders; value engineering; drawing and document review; researching code issues; and reviewing contractor estimates. Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to, client contact, consultant and contractor coordination. Candidates will have a four (4) year engineering degree, will be an Engineer-in-Training or a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and should have 5+ years of electrical design and engineering experience with educational, commercial and healthcare projects, in addition to experience with client contact and project management. Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD MEP) and Microsoft Office - strong computer skills are a must.
