HISTORY Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, Inc. (BGCE) began providing mechanical, electrical, commissioning, lighting, energy analysis, and technology consulting services in 1991. The firm, an early proponent of sustainability, was selected to be the mechanical and electrical engineer for the Aspen Sundeck Restaurant, one of the first 11 structures to be certified in the U.S. Green Building Council’s pilot Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Program. The firm gained invaluable experience and has since provided building design and commissioning services on hundreds of sustainable projects throughout the country and continues to develop its reputation as a leader. Currently we have 55 staff spread throughout Colorado (Fort Collins, Denver & Vail), California (Lake Tahoe), and New Mexico (Albuquerque). INDUSTRY FOCUS Our core competence is knowing and understanding building systems. BGCE has a large cross section of engineering disciplines and contracting disciplines focused on mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems found within all types of facilities. Our expertise includes not only designing these systems on paper, as part of construction documents, but then working at the job site overseeing their installation and ultimately testing these systems prior to building occupancy to ensure proper operation. To complement our MEP services, we alao offer commissioing, energy analysis & auditing, lighting design, and telecommunications design. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a junior level of Mechanical or Architectural Engineer for our Albuquerque office. This person should have a passion for sustainability and a degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering. Candidates will be required to work on various projects and to help in coordination and design of HVAC systems for various building types. All technical staff is required to become a LEEP AP within 1 year of employment therefore being a LEEP AP a plus.
