New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is looking for recent(0 to 18+/- months since graduation) Engineering grads from an accredited university that have passed the FE exam. Please send your resume. Generally Civil Engineers are hired, however at times Mechanical/Mining/Geotech/Other engineering disciplines are considered. These positions are in a training/intern program for 18 months. Some time will be spent in Santa Fe, however other assignments may be at various locations statewide during these 18 months. At the end of the training program, a permanent position will be assigned with the needs of the NMDOT and interests of the trainee considered. Final positions are statewide.
