A well tenured Utah engineering company in the Oil & Gas field currently has a career opportunity for an Environmental Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT. The right candidate's responsibilities will include air quality regulation/permit compliance, EPA NSR/PSD compliance, emission reporting, review of emission data, regulatory analysis, field sampling/testing, overseeing contractors, and assisting with government regulations. This position also provides support for compliance with relation to fuels, wastewater, hazardous waste/materials, solid waste, and drinking water systems/operations. The successful candidate will be able to perform environmental compliance duties under minimal supervision. They may also direct or lead the work of others from time-to-time. They should have an understanding of the processes used in oil refining as well as the associated environmental regulations. A degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree required.
