Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Remote Sensing Project Manager is responsible for technical and managerial oversight of a large, dynamic remote sensing project for the detection of Improvised Explosive Devices. This staff member will be responsible for directing technical development teams and requires excellent communication skills. The Remote Sensing Project Manager will also work with other senior staff to expand the base of business in this area. The candidate should have: A strong understanding of sensor and remote sensing processes A track record of technical leadership in the area of remote sensing Management experience with team composed of technical and non-technical personnel Strong skills in communication, project and personnel management Strong writing skills Ability to represent the company in professional forums and client meetings Ability to travel up to one week per month Masters degree or equivalent in relevant technical or scientific field 5-10 years experience in airborne remote sensing Secret (or higher) security clearance, or the ability to acquire Proficiency in LiDAR, orthophotography, SAR and hyperspectral techniques is a plus Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn new technologies Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, perseverance, and a positive attitude ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED Location: Hanover, NH Compensation: Depends on Experience; relocation considered for right candidate Principals only.
