Strong project management skills will be necessary to manage multiple projects that require coordination of several design disciplines at multiple locations; be knowledgeable of Earned Value Management systems to report project progress. Successful candidate will be required to review and edit AIA, EJCDC and DBIA contract documents; be knowledgeable of federal contract documents; have a working knowledge of and be able to apply appropriate building codes; and assemble project specifications from available national standards. Be very familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations and other supporting systems and standards applicable to winning and executing federal design projects. Establish relationships with local and regional agencies and companies that support an annual sales goal established during yearly budget preparation. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in a building related engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or structural), or architecture. Professional Registration: Professional Engineer or Registered Architect in the state of Washington required (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Registration in the state of California desired (or ability to obtain within 6 months). PMP Certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months). 10 years of Project Management Experience; 5 years minimum & recent with federal clients. Strong Client Relations Skills. Alternate Design/Build, Construction Management, Design, Bid, Construct project delivery systems experience. Understanding of project cost accounting systems and monitoring tools. Minimum 15 years experience in Design and Construction projects primarily in the U.S. Overview knowledge and working experience with MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Project and Outlook required.
