TEMPORARY POSITION LOCATED IN ALBUQUERQUE Performs professional engineering work in the conception, specification, design, manufacture and/or testing of packaging materials and products to contain, protect and ship contents. Typically requires a 4-yr degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering or package engineering. Three (3) years experience. 37.50 hour work week. Looking for someone with heavy statistical analysis experience preferably in the medical device industry and who has experience with Minitab software as well. Engineer will spend a large portion of their time on the plant floor running trials and validation tests on the packaging equipment. They will be expected to set up these tests in a manner that allows them to analyze data (statistics) and draw conclusions to make significant improvement to the production processes. This could be for ergonomics, cycle time, quality, or continuous improvement. The engineer is the key executor of projects. They take a project and complete all the tasks independently. They identify the right people to answer questions and give strategy and direction as needed. They identify potential issues and ensure that those opportunities are reviewed and then execute any strategy changes required to ensure quality products are delivered to our customers on time.
