SENIOR ENERGY OUTREACH COORDINATOR – SALT LAKE CITY, UT Nexant, Inc. is a leading provider of experience-based management and technology consulting services and technology solutions to electric utilities, energy producers, petroleum and chemical companies, and government agency energy end-users worldwide. We are currently seeking a Senior Energy Outreach Coordinator for our Salt Lake City office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of industry outreach specialists. This team works with trade ally contractors and equipment distributors in marketing and promoting publicly-funded energy efficiency programs. Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead a team of technical outreach staff to promote energy efficiency through formal and informal trade alliance networks • Conduct training and educational outreach efforts with trade allies who sell, design, install, and market energy efficient technologies • Communicate with trade allies and customers regarding program requirements • Develop tools to illustrate energy project economics to customers and trade allies • Perform due diligence engineering review for program applicants and coordinating on-site inspection activities • Calculate and review customer incentive payments. Qualifications: • Associates, vocational, bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering • 5-10 years lighting, HVAC, and/or other building system trades-related experience • Excellent written communication and superb interpersonal skills required • Demonstrated experience in team coordination and supervision of field staff in a professional work environment • Technical sales or contracting experience is a plus • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple time-dependent tasks • Background in building systems engineering - particularly HVAC systems, is a plus Nexant, Inc is an equal opportunity employer and encourages workforce diversity.
