Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following and any other duties assigned by management as needed. 1. Install, maintain and replace audio, computer, and high power broadcast equipment. 2. Support digital media delivery system (BE AudioVault) and associated systems. 3. Assist the IT staff. 4. Must comprehend and follow directions. 5. Troubleshoot a system/device to determine cause of failure and determine remedial action. 6. The ability to use electronic theory and work from schematics and rough sketches. 7. Demonstration of a familiarity with FCC Regulations and corporate policies, and creating plans of action to ensure compliance. 8. Writing technical reports and drawing schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics and overall operation. 9. Provide training to technical and non-technical staff. 10. May be required to execute remote broadcasts, some of which may require travel. 11. Some after hours and weekend work is required. Must be able and willing to respond to emergencies in a timely manner, regardless of time of day. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SBC certification is a plus A minimum of 5 years radio broadcast engineering experience is required. Applicant must be prepared to demonstrate his or her level of experience. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret equipment manuals, journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Possess the ability to write reports, business correspondence, general instructions and procedure manuals.
