Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide leadership by proactively organizing and directing activities to project team(s), which include in-house staff, design consultants, contractors and vendors. • Manage multiple projects, through design, construction and post construction phase activities. • Review, monitor and manage schedules, budgets and cost for design and construction activities, as well as, in-house project budgets • Plan, organizes, directs, coordinates all activities required to achieve a successful project completion. • Maintain the reporting system for providing current information on the project(s) to the Owners. • Proactively monitor document control and project communication • Coordinate and participate in constructability, bidability, and value engineering reviews • Coordinate and review construction cost estimates at various phases of design. • Provide timely and accurate information to in-house management, while providing independent day-to-day management of the project(s). • Maintain consistent schedule of meetings with developers and vendor team for project review and ensure deliverables are being met. • responsible for reviewing contractor‘s schedule, monitor progress, reviewing contractor/owner delays and keeping project on track to achieve contractual completion date. • Responsible for reviewing contractor change order requests for merit, estimating; negotiating and writing change orders. • Manage the use of regionalized vendors within a sepcifc region. Maintain consistency in adhering to timelines, quality and cost. Minimum Jobs Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years of Project/Construction Management on projects of at least $10 Million construction value. • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. • Strong computer software skills. Must be fluent in Microsoft word, excel and outlook. • Knowledgeable of and familiar with project/construction management software • Ability to read and understood construction documents including project plans, specifications, proposals and shop drawings.
