Mechanical Drafter Needed - Exton, PA Company providing security solutions to the residential and commercial market seeks a mechanical drafter to assist in documentation updating. This individual should be skilled with Solidworks, AutoCAD, and savvy with MS Office applications, and also have experience working with electronic components. Duties: Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. Sketches rough layout of machine and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes. Drafts detailed multiview drawings of machine and subassemblies. Modifies machine design to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems. Measures machine and parts during production to ensure compliance with design specifications. Enters and updates Bills of Materials. Maintains document files. Education and/or Experience: Two year certificate from college or technical school and one to two years related drafting experience. Must have valid drivers license.
