Instrument and Electrical Engineer Education and Certification Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Registered Professional Engineer, State of Oklahoma preferred Specific Work Background/Experience The person must have a minimum of five years experience engineering and designing instrumentation and electrical systems for natural gas compression, gas processing and treating plants, and refinery units. Familiarity with both domestic and international electrical codes and requirements is mandatory. Experience must include electrical engineering for both power/controls and instrumentation/safety systems for gas compression and processing facilities. Knowledge in regard to programmable logic controllers, their functionality and programming is preferred.
