6 Month Under general supervision, this fully competent role manages LAN performance and maintains LAN security. Installs network software and trains users on LAN operation. Troubleshoots LAN problems. Implements LAN policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and company objectives. Evaluates and recommends hardware, software and telecommunication equipment that meet the user's needs. Is responsible for working company wide in multi-platform environments. Provides occasional functional guidance to less experienced LAN Administrators. Requires guidance in complex problem areas, errors may cause significant delay, expense and disruption. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
