6 months Administrtation, installation, and maintenance of security infrastructure devices including firewall and remote access systems. Juniper Net Screen experience is a plus. Demonstrates a broad understanding of the methods, processes, and skills required for establishing computer access privileges to authorized users in a networked and secure environment. Demonstrates knowledge of security administration, security software, and computing hardware associated with the assigned area(s) of responsibility; demonstrates knowledge of operating system and independent software. Analyzes and resolves software trouble reports; demonstrates strong analytical abilities and aptitude for understanding software technical information/concepts as they relate to security. Demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned duties within the realm of responsibility. Demonstrates skills to interface with various departments, internal and external customer groups, to perform necessary security administration work. Demonstrates an awareness of customer requirements with emphasis on major initiatives. Sets priorities effectively and demonstrates timely and effective response to customer and team member needs. Demonstrates understanding of methods and processes of the business units within the realm of responsibility. Responds effectively and timely to the needs and requirements of the business units. Provides personal availability and maintains rotation on call status. Skills Skills: TCP/IP, Security Skills Additional Skills: Firewall administartion is necessary, Juniper platform experience is a plus. Unix server administration is a plus.
