Web Maintenance/Developer Temporary Classification Idaho Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ICBVI) Open for recruitment July 16, 2009 – July 24, 2009 Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Location: Boise, Idaho The ICBVI is currently recruiting for an IT Web Developer in Boise, Idaho. This is a non-benefited position and will be up to 35 hours per week. The primary duties will be to provide maintenance and support of an agency-wide Web application. Requirements: Incumbents must be able to work independently and without the need for assistance from professional information technology positions. Experience in project leadership for multi-faceted integrated database and web application is desirable. This position requires performing all the duties described below. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop and update information in databases; diagnose and fix bugs and problems with Web applications and/or Web sites; research and analyze new technologies; maintain/develop, code, install, test, debug and document Web-based applications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Good knowledge of Internet/web tools, technologies and protocols. EXPERIENCE: Expert knowledge of creating web content using a combination of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/AJAX/Dojo toolkit; developing and modifying databases using TSQL, stored procedures, and user defined functions; developing web applications and databases; working with clients performing business analysis to determine web solutions; recommending new IT solutions; write quality source code implementing new features and enhancements/fixes to existing functionality.
