Provide ISO (International Organization for Standardization) awareness training, and chair meetings to communicate the requirements of the ISO Standard to personnel within the organization. Oversee and assist with developing the following QMS requirements: Quality Manual and Quality Policy in compliance with the ISO Standard. Measurable Quality Objectives at various levels within the organization. Level II Procedures, Level III Work Instructions, Level IV Forms and the method for approval, revision, control and periodic document review. Management Review meeting schedules, agendas and actions. Methods for Management to provide internal communications to all personnel. Training plans, to include the effectiveness of the training (competency) Work in conjunction with Supervisors, Managers and the assigned Management Representative to develop a plan of actions and milestones to ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained in sequential order. Validate that adequate resources are identified and in place to perform required functions within the facility. Ensure customer requirements are determined and met, with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction. Establish purchasing procedures and controls to include vendor certification lists and outsourcing. Establish an internal audit program, e.g., trained auditors, audit schedule, check lists, etc. and assist with conducting internal audits, preparing corrective actions, and reviewing corrective action responses for adequacy. Identify and develop a process for addressing corrective and preventive actions, to include root cause analyses. FACTOR I skills and knowledge The employee must have a comprehensive working knowledge of ISO registration requirements and procedures. Must be skilled in general office administration. Must have ability to read and interpret procedural guides such as instructions, manuals, and established policies and procedures. Must have ability to communicate effectively using tact and courtesy. Must have knowledge of automation tools and an ability to use office automation technology to generate reports, briefing materials and or comparable documents. The employee must have the ability to prepare or edit written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Knowledge of spreadsheet software functions, processes and capabilities. Knowledge of data base software functions, processes and capabilities.
