Janalent is searching for a SharePoint Engineer/Consultant to work as a part of our Knowledge Solutions team. The position is focused around both 2003 and MOSS 2007. This role requires technical knowledge and experience to deploy and prepare operations infrastructure solutions which will meet customer’s business requirements. You will work with other team members in the design and delivery of SharePoint solutions. Requirements: - Expert level knowledge in the administration, configuration, monitoring of both SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services - Ability to interface effectively with customers and understand business problems and requirements - Must have successfully implemented and operated SharePoint solutions in a medium to large size enterprise environment including integration with other Microsoft services - Solid understanding of Microsoft server platform including Server 2003, SQL Server 2000/2005 - Development experience in a .NET environment is desirable - Certification (MCSD / MCSE) preferred - Experience in other Knowledge Management and Collaboration products is a plus e.g. LiveLink, Documentum, eRoom - Self motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines - Excellent interpersonal strengths together with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required.
