Member of IT technical team whose primary responsibility is to support and maintain Web Services. This position also works closely with the CIO to develop long-term goals and vision for the Web based technology direction, build Web based technology-related initiatives that reflect strategic direction and implement those initiatives through the projects and activities undertaken. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Works with department heads and staff to design and implement Web products to deliver e-services to the community. Helps analyze requests and proposes alternatives for meeting user*s needs * Coordinates end user training of the content management software and works with the Marketing and Strategic Communications staff in this regard. Responsible for managing the Web servers/services and works with the other staff to maintain all Web products and services. * Coordinates implementation and maintains Web products and systems such as content management systems (CMS). * Ensures that all Web products and content are high quality and timely. * Participates in meetings, prepares presentations and provides direct communication to enhance client relationships with the community and helps create a collaborative environment for enhancing existing Web services and exploring new and additional services. * Requirements: * Position requires bachelor`s degree, plus three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in a web application development environment * Any equivalent combination of education, experience, training; * delivery of database applications and content using HTML, SQL, ASP.NET, CSS, XSL, XML, Web graphics and design concepts and tools. * Candidate will have a thorough understanding of Web*s culture; strong communication and project management skills; experience supporting Web operations * .
