Purpose The warehouseman will maintain & enhance warehouse processes including: receiving, shipping, reporting to customers, inventory cycle counts, billing, & security procedures. This position coordinates several customer accounts and the employee must be able to interact with client representatives. Qualifications The warehouseman must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Some College would be perferred but is not necessary. 1-3 years of similar experience in warehouse work would be helpful because some processes need to be established or enhanced according to best industry practices. Candiadate must be a self-starter that can pay attention to details. Basic computer skills are necessary. Supervisory Responsibilities This is a small departmental position that demands that the employee can work independently with minimal direct supervision. In special cases, this position will supervise temporary employees to accomplish short term project work. Position Type This is a part-time position, 20-30 hours per week to begin with, but could work into a full time position. Salary is based upon experience, dedication and ability to assume additional responsibilites. Some weekends and on call work must be acceptable to employee. Applicants will reside in Ada Co. for quicker response time to on call situations and have dependable transportation. Work Environment We are a small local family-owned company with 10-15 employees. Because we are small, employees work as a team and often assume multiple jobs to accomplish our work. Warehouse work must be done in a safe and consistent manner, thus it is important to pay close attention to deatails and work carefully and safely.
