The Mental Health Services Department at Assets, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Full Time Service Planning Team Coordinator to provide leadership and direction to the Nova Team. This position is responsible for supervising a team of Service Planners who prepare Individual Plans for adults with developmental and/or mental illness who are receiving community support services. This position is responsible for administering and overseeing the Service Planning Program, performing quality control of the service planning process, ensuring program compliance, service coordination, personnel management, training and staff development, assuring quality services are provided to individuals served, policies, procedures and rule compliance, etc. Min. Qualifications: • Associate Degree (A.A.) or 2 years coursework in Human Services, Mental Health or related field; • Three (3) years of direct services and case management experience; • OR equivalent combination of education and experience required. • At least six (6) months of previous supervisory experience required. • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Desired Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, experience in writing treatment plans, positive behavior supports, mental health Medicaid experience preferred. Alaska Driver's License and insured vehicle or reliable transportation required. Must be able to pass a criminal background check under the state regulations. Great benefits!
