The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for performing all warehouse functions to support the restaurants. To execute, achieve and maintain quality and efficiency standards of the location based purchasing processes, while supporting China Grills’ purchasing policies and procedures. Computer knowledge is required for this position. • Maintains security, safety and sanitation of the warehouse and storage locations • Monitors compliance of warehouse storage locations to local health department inspection criteria • Communicates vendor performance & service levels to Purchasing Manager • Facilitates requisition/transfer/distribution of products • Maintains warehouse inventory par levels • Execution of purchases orders for all Food, Beverage and Supplies • Assist warehouse personnel • Knowledge and execution required of all systems used within the purchasing department at location, as it applies to Core Signatures and warehouse management procedures • Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale • Provides training to all warehouse personnel to ensure safety, security, & success • Creates, distributes and monitors a rotating warehouse schedule to ensure local Health Department compliance • Supports Department projects as required • Proper delegation of tasks to employee • Solicits and evaluates bids, selects suppliers, negotiates prices, terms and conditions of non predetermined contracts.
