Hi! My name is Nicholas and I have been accepted to Harvard (hooray for me!) though... one catch: I live in Denver! (ooooh, wasn't smart enough to think this "school thing" through was I?) NOW I am stuck commuting back and forth from Denver for school, and I need a place to hang my hat while I am in Bean Town! Here is the great news, I will only be around 2-3 days a week MAXIMUM. All of my classes are on Wednesdays. Anyway, a little about me- I am 29 years old and have founded a few tech companies that I have either sold or taken public, I also have filmed two movies that are now on IMDB! (I only include that information to indicate that I am not a complete drifter/loser.) (Just kind of.) Obviously I could rent my own condo/house/hotel/whatever but I'd like to treat my time in Boston as a social experiment. I have some introductions waiting for me out there from Holy Cross and a few other technonerds for a new social group- though I'd love to kick it with my new roomie(s) over beers, expensive scotch and really really inexpensive whiskey. :) Okay, down to biz: 1. I am a very clean person, so I'd like it if the place was at least free from clutter when I am around. 2. Rent and utilities are what they are, I really care more about the people than the place. We can go as high as a few grand a month or as low as $400-500. I'll pay a proportionate amount, no problem. Please don't attempt to swindle me into paying more than my share or take my money and spend it on McDonalds Dollar Menu. 3. If you have a garage, great! If not, no problem- just be close to campus and the Red Line (?) as I think I can take that from the airport to your (our) place and then to class on Wednesdays. 4. Smart people are cool, but please do NOT be a completely introverted nerd or ballbuster. I will probably kick your ass and then get thrown out of school, defeating the purpose of this post. Try to be open, fun and intelligent (yes, all at the same time). 5. Have wireless Internet. Also, if the place is furnished- bonus points... though again, I'd rather be stuck with an awesome roommate in a crappy boxy apartment with no furniture than with a ballbuster in a Palace furnished with Louis XIV antiques. Blah. Okay, this post is now officially WAY too long. I'm going to post a few pictures of myself and my super-rad-and-fresh-Denver-crew and call this post DONE. PS- email me. really.
