Benefits: If you are considering going active duty Army, there is a program call Active first that allows you to go Active duty first, and then return home to defend your State for the remainder of your contract. There is also a program available to people that don’t have a Diploma, but interested in joining. This program is call GED plus. GED plus will send you to school to get your GED, and pay you well you attend the School. Upon completion of the GED plus program you will ship to Basic and AIT, to learn your new trade.
