The County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a Human Resources Manager (Administrative Manager) to manage the Department-wide Employee Relations Program which include investigating, coordinating and providing direction to Management on all employee grievances, appeals, and disciplinary actions. Conduct or schedule regular training sessions and seminars on Commission wide policies; Maintain Departmental documentation; Work with Department Leadership to develop departmental personnel policies, and develop written guidelines. Manage the overall recruitment function by developing and administering effective, efficient, and timely department-wide recruitment processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide-range of Human Resources Functions. A strong Labor Relations background is preferred. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related subject; and 2. Eight months of progressively responsible administrative experience related to the needs of the department to which the position is assigned, including two months of progressively responsible supervisory or project management experience; or 3.
