Indian Springs, NV, USThrough the Mission Planning Support Contract (MPSC) TYBRIN provides mission planning training, expertise and technical support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Foreign Military Sales community at over 150 locations world-wide. This includes maintaining the integrity of weapons' system certified Mission Planning Environment software, 24/7/365 technical telephone support, configuration management, maintenance on aircraft mission planning systems, technical publications, system security, and fielding Mission Planning hardware and software.Provide technical support, assistance, and maintenance of hardware/software configuration for certified Mission Planning Environments for the Creech AFB, NV, site in support of Predator and Reaper aircraft. Under certain circumstances, may deploy with assigned units during peacetime and during armed hostilities in theater operations. A+, Network+, and/or Security+ must be attained within 6 months of hire.Education Desired/Required:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related disciplines · Or, Technical School certificate related to computer systems · Or, Equivalent Military Training Training Desired :· Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) · Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) · Microsofy Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) · Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)Experience Required:· 4 years administering infrastructure support to mainframe and/or client server systems and/or DoD systems required · Understanding of aviation mission-planning concepts and aircraft performance factors is desired · Understanding of and ability to analyze/toubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows Operating Systems · Must be able to accomplish basic file download,manipulation, installation and operation · Must have knowledge of networking hardware/software and communications over classified and unclassifed government networks · Must have understanding of Mission-Planning systems functions and external interfaces, such as TBMCS and possess knowledge of intelligence databases · Must possess knowledge of computer security procedures and knowledge of extract functions from TBMCS and must be able to provide system recovery using utility CD for back-up, copying, etc. · Must have understanding of mission planning system functions and external interfaces to include set-up and teardown procedures and MPE software loading · Must have strong Information Technology skills · Operation crew experience is desirable.
