State Sovereignty Lost (almost): Swooosh……the torpedo is in the water and it is headed towards your state. As I write this Barney Frank, yes Barney Frank, is drafting legislation that will take away state sovereignty. It is stealth legislation. The nation with the most debt (America) will back (guarantee) all of the debt for all of the states, cities and municipalities in America. Keep in mind, globally California is number two in debt behind America. On first blush this doesn’t sound like a bad thing, the states being backed by the full faith (cough) and weight (hack) of the US Government (laugh). But, pull back the curtain and you will see the reality of this smoke and mirrors move. Once the federal government backs the debt of each state, then each state is beholden to the federal government and can no longer stand on its own and make its own laws and decisions. It is like borrowing money from your local credit union and them selling the marker to the local Mafioso, who now wants a little “favor” for the cost of his carrying the note. This must be stopped, it is the last step in a complete governmental take over of America. Each and everyone of us needs to do the following, immediately and without hesitation: Call, write and email the white house and demand this bill not be drafted. Call, write and email your Senators and Representatives demanding they vote against this. Call, write, email and if possible, visit your governors office and tell him or her to fight this action and not let the feds back your states debt. Call, write, email and if possible visit your state (local) Representatives and Senators, telling them to put pressure on their federal counterparts and the governor, to halt this action. Remind them that without state sovereignty, they will not be needed and will be out of a job. If you have never written, called, faxed, emailed or visited a government official before, it is time for you to take action. With this legislation being drafted this late in the session, there is no tomorrow. We must stop this today. Thank you all! Now take that hill and save your state!
