Are you interested in Civil War history? Have you every thought it would be really cool to live and dress like others did in the 1860’s? Do you like camping, campfire cooking and sleeping under the stars, black powder guns? Then have the hobby just for you. We are a group of Civil War re-enactors called the Elliott’s Scouts. We are a dismounted Calvary unit that originally was located in the mid-west during the Civil War. We are a family orientated group. Every member of your family can play a part. We have soldiers, children civilians, laundresses for the ladies, etc. We also do guerilla and Union impressions. Join us for one or two events, or for every event. Our clothing and guns are period correct. Our battles are recreated by historical records. We camp as the soldiers of that time would. Come check out our Civil War re-enactors group. We can help outfit you. We have our yearly planning meeting in January. We have a great schedule of events close to Kansas City for 2009.
