Women & Infants Hospital/Brown University Research Study measuring the effects of depression and antidepressant use during pregnancy on fetal and infant behavior seeks Research Assistant/Case Manager -- Must be Fluent in SPANISH Job Description: The Case Manager/Research Assistant is responsible for conducting maternal interviews both at the research center and in participants’ homes. In addition, care coordination to program clients/patients. Primary duty is to do interviews, track participants and retention. Performs a wide variety of duties to provide major administrative support for a department sub-unit. Maintains files, procedures, verification and validation routines. Processes intakes and schedules/confirms appointments. Administers forms/questionnaires. Assists in conducting research, managing data collection forms, documenting and recording research sessions, coding recorded sessions, and maintaining databases for data, literature, and video files. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field required; Masters Degree preferred. At least one year previous case management/care coordination or related experience in a service oriented field. At least two years experience working in research studies. Must be highly organized and have experience in an administrative setting. Technical research experience, including data collection and entry into a computer system desired. Valid driver’s license and access to an appropriately insured automobile required. Training/experience in conducting maternal interviews preferred. Must have working knowledge of Excel and Word.
