Key member of MSF Executive Team. Leads, directs, plans and coordinates all human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as Annual Strategic Business Plan, Talent Management Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Education and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Policy Management, Data Management, Equal Employment Compliance, Organizational Development, Succession Planning, Change Management, Retention, and Resources/Budget Management. Sets HR vision and direction; Makes things happen by encouraging and channeling the contributions of others, taking a stand on and addressing important issues, and acting as a catalyst for change and continuous improvement. Lead, select, coach and develop staff; assign program responsibilities and special projects to staff; initiate, develop, recommend and implement human resources policies, programs, practices and procedures; monitor actions throughout the organization to ensure compliance with applicable HR policies, rules and regulations; and recommend corrective actions. Develop and implement short- and long-term Strategic Business Plan goals for Human Resources Team. Initiates, researches, develop, manage, evaluate and maintain Human Resources programs, policies and procedures. Provide expert advice and guidance to leadership on Human Resource matters. Conducts and/or facilitates training. Make presentations to various groups (employees, leadership and Board of Directors); Negotiates union contract and acts as labor relations representative/contact for management. Act as chief labor relations officer in contract negotiations, labor-management committee, and arbitration settings. Investigate and/or respond to human rights and other regulatory complaints and grievances. Develop and administer budget and set spending priorities. Provide expert Human Resource consulting services. Education and Experience: Requires Bachelor’s degree in business or human resource-related field plus 10 years of progressively responsible human resource work experience, with at least 4 years working in a leadership role.
