Alaska’s largest locally owned and operated bank, First National Bank Alaska, is seeking a full-time Payroll Specialist for our HR Payroll Unit. The successful candidate will processe and maintain payroll related records and files, and provide assistance to employees of the bank on payroll and timeclock matters. The minimum qualifications include two years payroll, banking, or accounting experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. One year payroll related experience required. Must be able to keyboard 35 wpm and operate a 10-key calculator by touch, and have word processing, spreadsheet, and database software experience. Working knowledge of payroll tax computations required. M-F 8am-5pm (1FT) Minimum Salary: $14.02/hr – D.O.E.
