Swan Employer Services a Professional Employer Organization is seeking to fill a new position available in its new Fairbanks office.
QUALIFICATIONS: Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration. Experience administering employee benefits plans. Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal labor law compliance. Ability to objectively coach our clients and their employees through labor related issues.
JOB STATEMENT/PURPOSE:
Perform and administer various human resources related duties for Fairbanks accounts. Provide administrative support to Account Executive. Act as a liaison between Anchorage Office and Fairbanks Clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Employee relations and support
o Act as a liaison between main office and client
• Recruitment Support
o Assist clients by coordinating job postings
• New Hire Paperwork
o Assist applicants through the New Hire process
o Review New Hire Packets for completion
o Submit to Anchorage office
o Maintain and stock employment forms
o Perform Integrity Testing and Drug Testing
• Conduct New Employee Orientations
• Perform benefits administration
o Provide benefits education and resources as requested
o Distribute materials
o Conduct benefits presentations
• Missing Information
o Retrieve and forward missing and incomplete information to Anchorage office
o Issue Stop Work Order forms
• Administrative Support
o Answering phones, routing calls, as needed
o Routing faxes, mail, and general correspondence
o Manage and sort incoming and outgoing mail
o Coordinate deliveries and pickups as needed
• Termination Process
o Obtain completed termination paperwork from various locations
o Review and submit to Anchorage office
• Injury Investigations
o Participate in the investigation of work related injuries
o Direct return-to-work program
o Obtain proper information, forward to Anchorage office for follow up
o Quarterly safety audits and periodic safety training
• Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the Company

• Travel to various Client Job Site Locations in the Fairbanks area.
