The Office/Human Resource Manager is responsible for the supervision of general office functions, as well as personnel administration to include providing all general support of HR functions at the unit level. Directly supervises one seasonal/full-time employee with responsibility for hiring, firing, discipline, performance reviews, and initiating pay increases. Performs general administrative/office functions no more than 20% of the time. You will identify best practices and organizational efficiencies, as well as coach and train line managers to properly apply human resource policies and procedures within the unit. The Office/Human Resource Manager manages the process and implementation of the following: payroll, benefits, employee incentives, retention, turnover, recruitment, safety, training and development. This position plays a key support role in recruitment/arrival of seasonal staff, and manages administrative services for the Anchorage office. Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and two years experience in a Human Resource Generalist role and/or managerial role, with primary emphasis on recruiting, employee relations, payroll & compensation. Human Resource experience must include specific employment and recruiting experience. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is desired. Requires effective oral and written communication skills, sound interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management.
